Ballarat Grammar for Beyond Blue Brooch

Lucky dip! All are beautiful. Thank you for your support.

Last year at my daughters school during terms 3 and 4 over 60 students from @ballaratgrammar made more than 1000 brooches in the ceramics room with their very clever teacher @rubypilven_ceramics

Together they made these brooches to raise money for Beyond Blue. They raised over $11,880 dollars. All of this money went to Beyond Blue to assist in their programs and events for helping those with anxiety and depression.
In Australia, suicide is the leading cause of death for males and females aged between 15 and 44. In a typical year, about 3,000 people in Australia die by suicide. That's an average of 8 people every day. And 3 million Australians are living with anxiety or depression. It can be very crippling and hard to talk about. But there is help out there. Beyond Blue @beyondblueofficial provides information and support to help everyone in Australia achieve their best possible mental health, whatever their age and wherever they live.

The support they gained from the students, parents, teachers, other local schools, local businesses and the wider community was incredible. This year they are doing it all again but with a new shape, different patterns and glazes.

All brooches are made by the students and are $10 each with all profits from the sales going to Beyond Blue.
In support of this very worthy cause I am selling these brooches with 100% of proceeds going to Beyond Blue. All are unique and one of a kind and make a lovely gift. Thank you 💙
