These popular miniatures in a matchbox have been manufactured in Seiffen, Germany since 1920. In the past, the matchbox was intended more as packaging for the miniatures. Later, furnishings and figurines were attached to the boxes themselves. This is how small stories made of wood are still lovingly handcrafted today. A beautiful gift that will never cease to amaze.
