This beautiful Japanese sewing kit made in Kyoto style, makes a beautiful addition to your sewing tools or a great gift for a sewing friend.
The set includes:
- a chirimen fabric covered divided box (measures 9 cm x 12 cm)
- 1 pack of high quality Japanese sewing needles and a needle case.
- a small needle cushion made of Japanese chirimen fabric.
- 3 glass head pins
- a pair of Japanese traditional scissors with scissor case and box to keep them safe
- black and white thread wound around an itomaki (thread bobbin).
- a repair needle to fix pulled threads. Put the point of this needle through the pulled thread on the front of the garment. Push the needle through to the back of the garment. The pulled thread moves together with the rough edge of the needle, disappearing from the front of the garment and leaving a smooth finish. (A great tool!)
